Financial Literacy Curriculum Support Group

Last year, the New Orleans College & Career Attainment Network led the charge to author and advocate at the Louisiana State Capitol to pass HB 52, now Act 48 from the 2025 regular legislative session. This bill requires that public high schools across the state teach students in the required financial literacy course how to apply for grants and scholarships to fund education after high school.

NOLA CCAN is partnering with Bestselling Author Dr. Paris Woods (also Co-Founder of College Beyond) to convene a focus group to discuss the development of an intentional curriculum that will truly heighten students' financial literacy and college affordability.

Ideal audience: High school financial literacy instructors in New Orleans. Open to other invested stakeholders.

Dinner will be served + special giveaway!

Please RSVP by 2pm April 13.
