“Motivate, Navigate, Graduate”
Do you have a best practice for serving students towards and through college? A strategy that fosters cross-sector collaboration? What about an innovative program that can be replicated in New Orleans? Research that validates how advisors and counselors should best support students, or even groundbreaking information about how to navigate education access in these unprecedented times? Topics related to college affordability and success after high school are always a priority for us.
We are accepting submissions from local, regional, and national organizations and individuals who wish to lead a breakout session at our annual one-day conference, "Life After High School".
Target audience: Postsecondary Success Practitioners; High School Counselors; College Success Coaches; Hope Dealers; School & Business Leaders; Student Champions of all titles!
Respond to the RFP to lead one of many concurrent 50-minute breakout sessions for approximately 30-50 attendees. Priority will be given to topics that address college persistence, best practices, advocacy, and college access & affordability (which includes FAFSA, scholarships, funding for students ineligible for federal aid, AP and concurrent or dual enrollment, Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), etc.
This year, we are happy to provide a $150 stipend for each breakout session. Stipend will go to one facilitator, and a W-9 is required. Stipend will be processed after event.
Please ensure that the below form is completed by the potential presenter and have all documents ready to upload for a smooth submission. Form closes at 1:30PM CST September 29.
